Dwell Magazine needed a series of six full page illustrations for an upcoming special edition issue on global spa culture. The illustrations covered the history, cultural nuance, new technologies and sustainable practices involved in the building and use of individual and communal spas and baths. From Japanese bathing rituals to greywater collection, all illustrations made use of a common color palette and subtle humor to express the concepts in each article.
