Neue Magazine is a conceptual publication that documents the rich history behind historically important music scenes and the cultural movements they were responding to. Neue recognizes that great music has the power to connect with us in profound ways, defining the undefinable through sensory experience over logical explanation. The goal of the first edition was to expose new audiences to a wide range of essential music, telling the story of it’s creation and the circumstances of it’s origins. In doing so the magazine introduced new audiences to important musical eras of the past that often get over looked.
Project completed at the Academy of Art University. Creative direction and instruction by Michael Kilgore. Composer illustrations by Todd Yoder.
